Apprehending her arrest in connection with Marhowrah P.S. Case No. 354 of 2017, registered under Section 366 A, 363, 341, 323, 504 and 120B/34 of the IPC, the petitioner has prayed for grant of anticipatory bail.

According to the FIR, the victim was kidnapped/abducted by the son of the petitioner who was living by the side of the house of the informant.

Learned counsel submits that it is the son of the petitioner who had kidnapped the victim.

Learned counsel for the State, however, points out from the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 (Annexure2) that the petitioner ( mother) has also played some role.

Petitioner shall surrender and pray for regular bail before the Court below. If he does so, the learned Court below shall consider his case on its own merit and dispose of the same unprejudiced by the present order.
