By order dated 15.11.2017 passed in Cr. W.J.C. No.1954 of 2017 this Court ordered for release of the vehicle in favour of the petitioner on execution of Bank Guarantee of Rs.4,00,000/- (Four Lacs).

Prayer is for modification of the aforesaid order to the extent of aforesaid amount because the vehicle has been valued at Rs.2,50,000/- (Two lacs fifty thousand) by the competent authority as per report of the District Magistrate.

In the circumstances, bank guarantee of the value of the vehicle be accepted by the authority concerned. The petitioner is also permitted to file title deed of the immovable property of the equal value as guarantee for release of the vehicle. Accordingly, this application stands allowed.
