This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail for offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 342, 348, 353, 323, 386, 387, 307, 506 and 333 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioners were identified in the mob of five thousand people, who were pressurizing the informant, Circle Officer, Gamharia, Madhepura, for re-election on the post of Mukhiya. The mob pelted stones also.

Submission of the petitioners is that co-accused and others have already been allowed anticipatory bail in Cr. Misc. No. 42642 of 2016 on 19.10.2016 by a coordinate Bench of this Court. Allegation of the petitioners is of similar footing. Considering the aforesaid fact, the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender, within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Gamharia P.S. Case No. 87 of 2016 corresponding to G.R. No.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52199 of 2016 (2) dt.21-12-2016 920 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, IV, Madhepura, or successor Court, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
