The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Hilsa P. S. Case No. 37 of 2011 instituted under Sections 304B and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation, in brief, is that informant's daughter was married with the petitioner only 5-6 years back, but she was tortured and harassed for further demand of dowry and in that connection she was ultimately killed and her dead body was disposed of.
It is submitted that there was cordial relationship between the husband (petitioner) and the deceased and in fact she had committed suicide and charge sheet has been submitted in this case on 24.11.2016 though it is a case of the year 2011.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1067 of 2017 (3) dt.08-03-2017 2/2 The petitioner is husband having specific allegation against him, so considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected at this stage.
