1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.
2. The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in Dulhin Bazar P. S. Case No.157 of 2022 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 379, 307 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a person with clean antecedent and the informant alleges that three named accused persons including the petitioner and three unknown accused intercepted the informant and snatched Rs.500/- from his pocket and when the resisted, petitioner fired causing injury on his left arm.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in the instant case by the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.53350 of 2025(2) dt.18-08-2025 2/2 informant. It is also submitted that it does not appear probable that for snatching Rs.500/-, the petitioner would have wasted a cartridge. It is also submitted that petitioner is a person with clean antecedent.
5. Learned A.P.P. opposes the anticipatory bail application and submits that the specific allegation against this petitioner of causing firearm injury on left hand of the informant.
6. Considering the submissions made by the learned A.P.P., the Court is not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
7. The prayer of the petitioner for anticipatory bail stands rejected.
