JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 06-04-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in connection with Mansi P.S. Case No.214 of 2017 registered under Sections 341, 323, 504, 506 and 307 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the allegation against the petitioners, who are ladies, is that they assaulted the informant with fists and slaps. He submitted that the petitioners are sister-in-laws (Bhabhi) of the informant and the ingredients of the offence punishable under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code would not be attracted against them. Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18359 of 2018 (2) dt.06-04-2018 2/2 submitted that there is allegation in the first information report that co-accused Laxmi Yadav opened fire causing superficial injury on the left thumb of the informant.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on behalf of the parties, in the event of arrest or surrender in the court below within six weeks from today, the petitioners are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khagaria in connection with Mansi P.S. Case No.214 of 2017 corresponding to G.R. No.2545 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
