2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case No. 86 of 2025 dated 04.03.2025 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 137(2), 140(3), 96 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. The allegation is that the son of the petitioner, namely, Raushan Kumar has kidnapped the daughter of the informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is specific allegation against Raushan Kumar, who happens to be

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.52296 of 2025(2) dt.11-08-2025 2/2 the son of the petitioner. There is love affairs between the daughter of the informant and the son of the petitioner. The victim in her statement recorded under Section 183 of B.N.S.S. has stated that she herself pressurized the son of the petitioner to marry with her. She left her house as per her own sweet will and get married with him in a temple. It is further submitted that the victim girl stated before learned court below that she wants to live with Raushan Kumar Sah. Lastly, it has been submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 08.03.2025 having no criminal antecedents. Charge-sheet has been submitted in the case.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.-I, Araria in connection with Raniganj P.S.
