The petitioner seeks direction to the respondent no.2 for issuance of arms licence for NP Bore Rifle.

It is contended that the petitioner has filed an application in the year 2009 on which File No.35-05/2010 was opened, however, despite the recommendation of the concerned authority, no decision has been taken by the District Magistrate-cum-Licensing Authority, Munger as yet.

Accordingly, I dispose of the writ application directing the respondent no.2 to take a decision within four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order upon the application of the petitioner in accordance with law.
