====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 19-09-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sessions Case No. 505 of 2025 arising out of Dhangai P. S. Case No. 99/2024 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 80 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. As per prosecution case, marriage of daughter of informant was solemnized with co-accused Saurabh Kumar on 05.02.2024 as per Hindu rites and rituals and thereafter, it is alleged that all the F.I.R. named accused persons, including this petitioner, tortured and harassed daughter of informant for dowry and later, committed murder of daughter of informant

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.52272 of 2025(2) dt.19-09-2025 2/2 due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is husband of the deceased and has committed no offence. Petitioner never demanded dowry and has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner is in custody since 18.10.2024. Chare-sheet has already been submitted.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the bail application.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and period of custody, the bail application is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-III, Sherghati, Gaya in connection with Dhangai P. S. Case No. 99/2024.
