JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) Date: 24-03-2017 Keeping in view the Action Taken Report submitted by the respondent along with the letter as ordered on 09.01.2017, now in the light of the action already taken, we are satisfied that keeping the matter pending and monitoring of the construction of toilets and other amenities by this Court is not necessary. As indicated by the respondents in the Final Action Taken Report, they should proceed to complete the construction work within a stipulated period of time. That apart, the Government of India has already launched a different scheme, i.e.
, the Swachcha Bharat Scheme with regard to implementation of an identical scheme for the entire country and, therefore, now when the Union of India is meticulously implementing the said scheme, keeping the matter pending does not seem necessary. The scheme, which has been implemented by the Union of India for the entire country, would be implemented by the State Government also and the grievance of the petitioner, if any, would be adequately met once the scheme is implemented in the State.
That being so, for the present, no further indulgence is
