Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in Narpatganj P.S. Case No. 410 of 2020 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420/406/120B of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner and others have impersonated as Income Tax officials and have taken the money belonging to the informant forcibly. The petitioner has been named in the self inculpatory statement of the co-accused.

In the case, the petitioner does not deserve anticipatory bail. It is, accordingly, dismissed.

The petitioner is directed to surrender within four weeks from today and if the petitioner does not surrender within four weeks, the Superintendent of Police, Araria will take all legal steps to arrest the petitioner.
