JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 07-10-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned APP as well as learned counsel for the informant.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Turkauliya P.S. Case No. 337/2015, registered for the offences punishable under Section 406, 420 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code. The father of the informant settled marriage of the sister of the informant with Sanyasi Kumar @ Snehashish. The informant alleged that money was given, but after some time additional demand of dowry and second hand Bolero were demanded.

The informant named the bridegroom, his father, mother and the petitioner who happens to be maternal uncle of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30686 of 2015 (3) dt.07-10-2015 2/2 bridegroom, but the informant did not make any specific allegation against the petitioner as to what role the petitioner has played in demanding the additional dowry or any statement of marriage.

Learned counsel for the informant submitted that the petitioner negotiated marriage, but he did not receive any money from the informant.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran Motihari in connection with Turkauliya P.S. Case No. 337/2015, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J.) Vinita/- U T
