Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State.

The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Jhajha PS case no. 335 of 2019 instituted for the offences punishable under Section 302 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

In compliance to the order of this Court dated 24.11.2023, a report has been submitted by Additional District and Sessions Judge-IV, Jamui, from which, it appears that prosecution evidence has been closed and now, the trial is fixed for statement of accused under Section 313 Cr.P.C.

In view of the aforesaid, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage, however, petitioner is given liberty to renew his prayer for bail after recording of his statement

The present application is rejected with aforesaid liberty.
