JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 18-12-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case under Sections 387 of the Indian Penal Code.
The informant was asked a sum of Rs. 5,00,000/- (Five lacs) as ransom on his Mobile no. 8084526423, from mobile no. 7563003251, which belongs to one Pankaj Patel and was in actual use of one of the accused Amit Kumar @ Happy Singh. The petitioner submits that the he has been falsely implicated in this case. His name has figured in the statement of co-accused. Furthermore, even the informant has filed a petition negating the involvement of the petitioner in the crime. In the circumstances, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within four weeks from today,
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.50264 of 2015 (2) dt.18-12-2015 2 / 2 the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.5000/- (Five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sheohar in connection with Sheohar P.S. Case no. 152 of 2014 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
