Stating that the mother of the petitioner No. 1, late Tahsin Aliya died in harness on 04.05.2021, while working as the Block Teacher in Upgraded Middle School, Baksoti (Hindi), Block-Govindpur within the District of Nawada and that the father of the petitioner No. 2, late Vijay Bahadur Singh died in harness on 16.06.2020, while working as Headmaster in Middle School, Khadsari, Block-Kauwakol, District-Nawada have filed

Patna High Court CWJC No.11818 of 2024(2) dt.08-08-2024 2/3 this writ petition seeking compassionate appointment. The petitioners contend that the petitioner No. 1 had filed a representation dated 09.07.2021, to the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Nawada/Respondent No.-6 and the petitioner No. 2 had also filed a representation dated 07.02.2024 to the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Nawada/Respondent No.-6 praying for appointment on compassionate basis, but the same have not been considered by the respondent No. 6.

Under the circumstances, with the consent of learned counsel for the parties this writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to submit a fresh representation to the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Nawada/Respondent No.-6 for compassionate appointment on the grounds mentioned above within a period of two weeks from today.

4. As and when the representation is submitted by the petitioners as indicated hereinabove, the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Nawada/Respondent No.-6 shall consider and dispose of the same in accordance with law and pass a reasoned and speaking order within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of representation filed by the
