1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this is an application for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus, commanding and directing the Respondent authorities, specially Respondent No. 4 i.e. the Sub Divisional Officer, Rosera and Respondent No. 5 i.e. the Circle Officer, Shivaji Nagar to take all lawful action for removal of the encroachment made on the public land total measuring about 28 Bigha, 25 Katha and 10 Dhur pertaining to Khata No. 324, Mauza- Karian, Anchal- Shivaji Nagar, District- Samastipur by some

Patna High Court CWJC No.12595 of 2024(2) dt.27-08-2024 2/2 of the anti social persons without any authority of law.

And further to take all needful legal action for removal of illegal encroachment pursuant to the direction of the District Magistrate, Samastipur issued Vide an order dated 26/8/2021 passed in Complaint Appeal Proceeding."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The writ petition stands disposed off.
