The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of appropriate order/direction to the concerned respondents to consider the claim of the present petitioner for grant of PDS license on compassionate ground in view of Rule 10 of the Bihar Targeted PDS (Control) Order, 2016 as the father of the petitioner was a PDS license holder bearing license no. 149/85 under the village Makandpur, Panchayat Kishanpur Block Sultanganj, PS Akbarnagar, District Bhagalpur and he died

Patna High Court CWJC No.19111 of 2021(2) dt.22-03-2022 2/2 during the subsistence of PDS license.

At the outset, learned counsel for the State submits that the representation (Annexure-3) submitted by the petitioner is pending before the Sub-Divisional Officer, Bhagalpur. He assures the Court that the said representation shall be duly considered and decision be taken thereon within four weeks from today. A reasoned order shall be passed and copy thereof shall be furnished to the petitioner forthwith. In view of the statement, we feel no further adjudication is necessary.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
