.... .... Opposite Party/s ====================================================== Appearance :

For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Amresh Kumar Sinha For the Opposite Party/s : Mr. Sri Kumar Ranjit Ranjan ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 01-05-2017 Heard both sides.

The petitioner seeks bail in Chauri P.S. case No. 42 of 2016 under Section 307 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The informant alleged that petitioner made indiscriminate firing and while the informant was fleeing away the petitioner made firing causing injury on his left leg. Thereafter, the petitioner and others fled away firing in the air. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that only one injury was found on the leg of the informant. Of course, the injury is grievous in nature but no other injury was found on the person of the informant or on any other person. There are other family members on which the petitioner also made firing.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11642 of 2017 (3) dt.01-05-2017 2/2 It appears that there is specific allegation against the petitioner that he made indiscriminate firing in which the informant got injury on the left leg. The petitioner has got criminal antecedent and he is accused in as many as nine criminal cases. Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. The petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after nine months, if the trial is not concluded.
