2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Athmalgola P.S. Case No. 95/2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8(c)/20(b)(ii)(B) of the NDPS Act.

3. 3 Kg 680 grams of Ganja and one motorcycle have been recovered from the petitioner. The petitioner is in jail since 24.04.2023 and he has clean antecedent. The trial has not yet commenced.

4. Considering the period of custody and also the fact that the petitioner has clean antecedent, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions

5. It has been submitted by relying on the statement made in paragraph No. 3 that the petitioner has clean antecedent.

6.The Court below is directed to verify the antecedent from the police before accepting the bail bond of the petitioner. In case, the petitioner is found to have suppressed his antecedent, the bail bond of the petitioner shall not be accepted.
