This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Makhdumpur case no. 169 of 2019 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B), 201/34 of Indian Penal Code.
The allegation is regarding the accused persons including the petitioners herein having killed the victim girl on account of non-fulfilment of the demand for dowry. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are the mother-in-law and father-in-law of the deceased-victim lady. It is further submitted that this Court may consider directing the learned court below to grant bail to the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50740 of 2019(4) dt.27-11-2019 2/2 petitioners herein, immediately upon surrender of the husband of the victim lady who happens to be the son of the petitioners herein. Having regard to the facts and circumstance of the case, the learned court below is directed to grant bail to the petitioners herein, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M. Jehanabad in connection with Makhdumpur PS case no. 169 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of Code of Criminal Procedure, only upon the petitioners herein producing the proof of surrender of their son i.e. the husband of the deceased-victim lady before the learned court below. The present bail petition stands disposed off with the aforesaid directions.
