Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 11(A)(D)(E)(F) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act, registered in connection with Murliganj P.S.Case No.114 of 2022.

As per allegation, some animals were being carried in a pick-up van, which was intercepted by the members of an association. It was found that the cattle were loaded in a cruel manner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the duty assigned to the petitioner was to carry the

He has further submitted that the owner of the cattle has been granted anticipatory bail by this Court. Considering the above facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from the date of communication of this order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Madhepura in connection with Murliganj P.S.Case No. 114 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr. P.C. If similar type of occurrence is reported against the petitioner, the learned court below shall cancel his bail bond.

Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioner within the stipulated time as provided hereinabove, failing which the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
