====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 01-09-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.
2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 447, 448, 386, 387, 323, 427 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has antecedents of three cases and the allegation is of demanding extortion and looting Rs. 5 lakhs from the staff of the informant. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the instant case by the informant as he did not support the informant, who was a candidate in the Panchayat election.
4. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner and submits that the case is of

No.51890 of 2025(2) dt.01-09-2025 2/2 the year 2023 and there is an allegation against this petitioner along with others of demanding extortion from the informant, who deals in sand. It is also submitted that the petitioner has antecedents of three cases and, in the event the privilege of anticipatory bail is granted, the petitioner may abscond.
5. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, the Court is not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Koilwar P.S. Case No. 162 of 2023 pending in the Court of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara/Successor Court.
6. Hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Satyavrat Verma, J) Neha/- U T
