The petitioner seeks bail in Chharadano (Mahuawa O.P.) P.S. Case No. 21/2017, registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016. Three persons including the petitioner Raju Kumar @ Raj Kumar were apprehended while coming on a Nano Car bearing registration no. BR-22F-5351. On search, 360 bottles each containing 300 ml. Nepali wine were recovered. It appears that 108 litres of Nepali wine was recovered from possession of three persons for which the petitioner is in jail since 16.02.2017. The petitioner has already remained in jail for more than two months.
