The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered under Sections 323, 341, 498A, 307, 406 of the Indian Penal Code and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. Allegation against the petitioner is of committing torture upon the victim due to non-fulfilment of demand of dowry.

Both parties are present in the Court. It has been assured on behalf of the petitioner that he will keep O.P. No. 2 with all respect and dignity. On the assurance given by the petitioner, O.P. No. 2 has agreed to stay with him.

No.5188 of 2018(3) dt.30-03-2018 2/2 Considering the submissions made on behalf of the parties and as the matter has been settled between them, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest/surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Jehanabad in connection with Complaint Case No. 196 of 2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
