The petitioner seeks bail in Kundwa Chainpur P.S. Case No. 12/2017, registered for the offences punishable under Section 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 30(a), 37(a) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

The allegation is that the petitioner and Hans Lal Singh were carrying 120 bottles of Nepali liquor each containing 300 ml. About 36 litres of Nepali liquor was recovered from the possession of the petitioner and Hans Lal Singh for that the petitioner is in jail since 03.02.3017. The petitioner has already remained in jail for three and half months.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above-

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.22280 of 2017 (2) dt.17-05-2017 named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sikrahna at Dhaka (East Champaran) in connection with Kundwa Chainpur P.S. Case No. 12/2017.
