JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 21-12-2022 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief :- " For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of MANDAMUS, commanding and directing the Respondent Authorities particularly the Respondent nos. 3 and 4 to renew the Arms License of the petitioner being Arms License No.127 of 1988 which is valid up to 31.12.2021 for which the petitioner had already submitted an application before the Respondent no.3 in prescribed form 13.11.2021 on the ground that the petitioner has never misused the arms

Patna High Court CWJC No.14201 of 2022(2) dt.21-12-2022 2/2 as well as the arms license since 1988 to till date as also the petitioner had followed the direction issued by the competent authority time to time for its verification and inspection."

Having regard to the limited prayer made by the petitioner, as aforesaid, I deem it fit and appropriate to direct the District Magistrate, Siwan/ District Arms Magistrate, Siwan to dispose off the aforesaid pending application of the petitioner, if not already disposed off, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of 08 weeks of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
