This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail for offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 447, 341, 342, 302, 323, 324, 325 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code.
There is allegation that for land dispute the petitioner and others assaulted to Bhatu Das, the father of the informant, and other family members. Bhatu Das died of injury, during the course of his treatment.
Submission of the petitioner is that in fact the petitioner was not there. He had gone to Kolkata, which would be evident from the railway ticket of general class. Considering the nature of allegation, the petitioner does not deserve anticipatory bail.
