The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Madhepur P.S. Case No. 68 of 2022 for the offence registered under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 379, 354(B) and 427/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that the petitioner and other persons armed variously came and started assaulting her and her family members and specific allegation is against him that he gave 'axe' blow on her head as also outraged her modesty.
