2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner informs that during the pendency of the present writ petition, the Block Development Officer, Dulhin Bazar, Patna vide Letter No. 825 dated 06.07.2023, has already

Patna High Court CWJC No.11848 of 2023 dt.19-09-2023 2/3 communicated with respect to the sanction of the pension payable to the petitioner to the Accountant General, Bihar and pursuant to the said communication, the Accountant General office has taken steps to issue authority and communicated the same to the Treasury Officer, Patna. However, Treasury Officer, Patna, has not credited the amount into the pensionary bank account of the petitioner. Learned counsel further submitted that petitioner is now aggrieved for non-payment of Group Insurance and arrears of salary on account of financial upgradation as a result of benefit of second and third A.C.P. and M.A.C.P. He further submitted that till date, the District Provident Fund Officer has not paid provident fund amount to the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submitted that the Director Agriculture, Directorate of Agriculture, Government of Bihar, Patna has already sent the deduction statement relating to the petitioner with respect to expeditious payment of provident fund to the District Provident Fund Officer, Patna.

4. Considering the aforesaid submission, the District Provident Fund Officer, Patna, is directed to forthwith make payment of provident fund to the petitioner. In case, he still requires deduction statement for certain periods which is

5. The authorities as mentioned in this order must not fail to comply with the direction passed by this Court in making payment of admitted retiral dues payable to the petitioner.

6. In case, the petitioner finds that the District Provident Fund Officer, Patna, Treasury Officer, Patna and the concerned insurance company fails to make payment of required amount to which the petitioner is entitled for within the aforesaid period, the petitioner may take appropriate legal action against the concerned authority in accordance with law.

7. With above observations and directions, the present writ petition is disposed of.
