JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 19-04-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Rajpur P.S. Case No. 275 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 385, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

It is alleged in the written report that when the informant had called a meeting of Jan Adhikar Party, the petitioner along with five other accused persons armed with rife, pistol etc. arrived in the office and started indiscriminate firing. It is further alleged that petitioner along with other accused namely Sanjay Singh @ Santosh Singh caused firearm injury on the chest and other portion of body of the informant.

Case diary has been received.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.2959 of 2018 (3) dt.19-04-2018 2/2 The injury report is available in the case diary wherein the Doctor has found total five injuries on the person of the informant caused by firearm and the opinion has been kept reserved. The petitioner has criminal antecedent and there are five cases pending against him.

Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.

Petitioner may surrender before the court below and make prayer for regular bail.
