The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Goraul P.S. case No. 92 of 2016 under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The informant alleged that his daughter was married to Ranjit Ram, eight years ago. She got two children but from last two years his daughter was complaining abut the ill treatment at the hands of her husband. The informant got information that Ranjit Ram killed his wife, daughter of the informant. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that informant suspected the hands of the petitioners in killing of his daughter but the daughter of the deceased, Sweta Kumari,
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.45772 of 2016 (2) dt.25-11-2016 2/2 disclosed that Ranjit Ram assaulted his wife with sharp edged weapon, causing her death on the spot. The petitioners are cousin father-in-law and cousin mother-in-law of the deceased. No specific allegation is made against the petitioners. The petitioners have no manner of concern with the family affairs of Ranjit Ram and his wife.
Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegations made against the petitioners, the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur in Goraul P.S. Case No. 92 of 2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
