2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No.859 of 2023 arising out of Maniyari P.S. Case No. 206 of 2023 dated 04.07.2023, lodged under Sections 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code read with section 27 of the Arms Act pending before the Court of 8th Additional Sessions Judge, Muzaffarpur.

3. Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner has earlier been rejected vide order dated 26.04.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 8496 of 2024. Senior Counsel further submits that the petitioner is in custody since 20.07.2023 i.e. more than one year has been

4. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submits that vide order no.2 dated 07.08.2024, report about the present stage of the trial has been called for and from the said report, it transpires that Trial Court has indicated that there is likelyhood to conclude the trial within six months.

5. In the present facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected at present.
