For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Rajendra Nath Sinha For the Opposite Party/s : Mr. Ashok Kumar, A.P.P. ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE NAVANITI PRASAD SINGH ORAL ORDER 23-09-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.
The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 366, 368/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Since the trial of the case of the petitioner is going on and the petitioner had been absconding, though named in the case at the earliest, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Arwal P.S. Case No. 196 of 2013 pending in the court of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad. This application for grant of anticipatory bail is, thus, dismissed. However, the petitioner may surrender and pray for regular bail which should be dealt with in accordance with law. (Navaniti Prasad Singh, J) Amin/- U
