====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ALOK KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 26-09-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondent-State.

2. The petitioner in the present writ petition has prayed for grant of following relief :- (i) For issuance of writ/writs, order/ orders in the nature of Mandamos for directing the Respondents to grant entire benefits of A.C.Ps to the Petitioner along with consequential monetary benefits from the date of his eligibility as the Petitioner has been retired from service as Panchayat Sevak (Secretary) in Block - Piprasi, District West Champaran on 31.12.2016. In this regard, the Petitioner filed representation on 23.09.2024 but up till it

(ii) Pass such other Order Orders as your Lordships may deem fit and proper.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for seeking the aforesaid relief, the petitioner has already filed a representation dated 23.09.2024 (Annexure-P/3) before the District Magistrate, West Champaran, Bettiah which continue to be pending. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if an appropriate direction could be issued to the District Magistrate, West Champaran, Bettiah, to dispose of his pending representation within a fixed time-frame after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

4. To the aforesaid prayer being made by learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State does not have any objection.

5. Considering the limited nature of prayer being made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ application is disposed of directing the District Magistrate, West Champaran, Bettiah to dispose of the pending representation of the petitioner after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner by passing a reasoned and speaking order.
