2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 353, 380, 337, 332, 333 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner presses for bail in the present case wherein, he has been named along with 32 other persons as an accused, however, it is disclosed that the petitioner was arrested at the place of occurrence but later he fled away from custody while undergoing treatment. It is also noticed that the case is of the year 2001 and the petitioner has now been arrested in the year 2025, hence he has delayed the proceedings of the court as till date the trial could not

4. Taking into consideration the flight risk of the petitioner as he has evaded arrest for almost 24 years, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of bail to the petitioner at this stage.

5. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

6. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge. (Soni Shrivastava, J) ranjan/- U
