The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 307, 147, 148, 149, 341, 342, 323, 353, 332, 333, 216, 337, 338 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is submitted by learned senior counsel for the petitioner that the earlier application for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 8.7.2021 (Annexure-1) passed in Cr. Misc. No. 8369 of 2021.

Against the allegation of the petitioner having escaped on 31.1.2020, the petitioner was arrested in one another case and remanded in the present case on 20.8.2020. He has remained in custody for 1 year 3 months.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case together with the petitioner having remained in custody for over 1 year, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Khiri More P.S. Case no. 11 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Danapur/concerned court.
