JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 13-02-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i) For setting aside the order contained in Memo No. 831 dated 08.07.2022, issued by the District Magistrate, Motihari, to the extent it relates to the petitioner whereby petitioner's contract, who was working on contract basis an Upper Division Clerk has been terminated and as consequence thereof, he has been removed from service, even without issuance of show cause on the point of so called irregularities in blatant violation

ii. The petitioner further prays that after setting aside the aforementioned impugned order he may be reinstated in service i.e., on the post of Upper Division Clerk in the office of District Sub Registry Office, Motihari forthwith with all consequential benefit as the petitioner has not been in gainful employment after termination of the contract."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
