JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 13-02-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i) For setting aside the order contained in Memo No.1111 dated 06.09.2022, issued by the District Magistrate, Motihari, to the extent it relates to the petitioner whereby petitioner's empanelment on the post

Patna High Court CWJC No.14300 of 2022(2) dt.13-02-2024 2/3 of Upper Division Clerk on contract basis has been terminated and as consequence thereto, he has been removed from the post of UDC, posted in the District Sub-Registry Office, East Champaran, Motihari, without even issuance of show cause on the point of so called irregularities in blatant violation of the Principle of Natural Justice which has caused serious prejudice to the legal rights and interest of the petitioner.

ii. The petitioner further prays that after setting aside the aforementioned impugned order he may be reinstated in service i.e., on the post of Upper Division Clerk in the office of District Sub Registry Office, Motihari forthwith with all consequential benefit as the petitioner has not been in gainful employment after termination of the contract."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
