The petitioner seeks bail in Barachatti P.S. Case No. 20/2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 467, 468, 471, 272, 273, 120B of the Indian Penal Code and sections 30(a), 32(2), 38 and 47 of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Amendment Act, 2016.

The petitioner was intercepted with a vehicle bearing registration no. JH05AC4441. The petitioner was driving the vehicle and from the vehicle 133.560 litres of different brands of Indian made foreign liquor was recovered and for that the petitioner is in jail since 15.01.2017. The petitioner has already remained in jail for about three months for recovery of 133.560 litres of liquor.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above-

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11897 of 2017 (3) dt.08-04-2017 named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No. 20/2017.
