JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 12-06-2020 Heard Mr. Alok Kumar Sinha, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State. The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 1890 of 2014 (Trial No. 1646 of 2019) in which cognizance has been taken against him for the offences under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has informed

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50038 of 2019(7) dt.12-06-2020 2/2 this Court that the dispute between the spouses stands settled before the Mediation Centre.

In that view of the matter, the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SubDivisional Judicial Magistrate, Samastipur in connection with Complaint Case No. 1890 of 2014 (Trial No. 1646 of 2019), subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.

It is made clear that if the statement, referred to above, is not found to be correct by the Court below, the order shall not be implemented.
