JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 04-02-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case under section 304B of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that the accused persons caused the death of the deceased by strangulation on account of non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased and the victim Marchi Devi committed suicide on some trifle issues.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. His prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. If petitioner surrender and pray for regular bail, the same would be disposed of preferably on the same day without prejudice.
