2. The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in connection with Dumra P.S. Case no. 283 of 2023 registered under sections 20(b)(ii)(C) and 29 of the NDPS Act and sections 25(1-B)(a), 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, on a raid being conducted, it is stated that several persons were caught from whom illegal arms and charas was recovered. So far as the petitioner is concerned, a loaded country made pistol with a live cartridge was recovered.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 14.03.2024 (Annexure-1) passed in Cr. Misc. no. 14547 of 2024, giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after six months. It has been more than one year five months since the order of the said rejection. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner could not move earlier as he was moving for bail in other cases wherein he has been falsely implicated, the details having been given in paragraph no. 3 of the petition. The petitioner has remained in custody since 9.6.2023 and undertakes to cooperate in the case/trial.

5. The application for bail is opposed by learned APP for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegations against the petitioner in the FIR, his having remained in custody since 9.6.2023 and the liberty granted in the earlier order of rejection dated 14.3.2024, the petitioner above named, is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Dumra P.S. Case no. 283 of 2023 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge-
