The Petitioner seeks bail in Excise Case No.

367 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of the Excise Act.

It is alleged that 5 litres of country made liquor has been recovered from the hut of the petitioner. The petitioner is said to be in custody since 21.11.2016.

It has been mentioned in para 3 of the petition that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the

No.9609 of 2017 (2) dt.11-04-2017 2/2 Petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of 10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Excise Case No. 367 of 2016, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
