In this case, the petitioners are seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Kopa P.S. Case No.164 of 2017, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 325, 307, 379, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation has been made against the petitioners to have assaulted the informant. It is alleged that petitioner no.1 has caused injury by knife and petitioner no.2 and others have caused injury by iron rod.

Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioners surrender before

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.22936 of 2018(2) dt.27-04-2018 2/2 the Court below within three weeks from today and pray for regular bail, the Court below will consider the same and pass appropriate order on the same day without being influenced by the order of this Court.
