Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30, 35, 38 of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2016.

Petitioner is in custody since 15.01.2017 having allegation that he was traveling in the same Bolero vehicle from which 785 pieces each containing 200 Ml. of Jharkhand made liquor was recovered.

Co-accused, namely, Pappu Kumar, having similar allegation, has already been allowed bail by this Court vide order dated 19.04.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 14989 of 2017. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14121 of 2017 (4) dt.17-05-2017 2/2 Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai/successor Court in connection with Muffasil Police Station Case No. 19 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
