The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Beur P.S. Case No. 216 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Sections 498A, 364 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the petitioner No. 1 is married Nanad of daughter of the informant and petitioner No. 2 is husband of petitioner No. 1. The husband is already in custody. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioners.
From the written report, it appears that there is
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.54443 of 2016 (4) dt.01-03-2017 2/2 general and omnibus allegation leveled against the petitioners. The learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is allowed. In the event of surrender/arrest of the petitioners, named above, within six weeks from today, in connection with Beur P.S. Case No. 216 of 2016, they shall be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Smt. Savita Rani, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Patna, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) Cr. P.C. (Sanjay Priya, J) S.Ali/- U T
