In this case, the petitioners are seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Barachatty (Mohanpur) P.S. Case No.487 of 2016, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 341, 323, 324, 307, 504 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code. There is direct allegation against the petitioners to have assaulted the informant by tangi and iron rod. Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected.
