2. The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Koilwar P.S. Case No. 209 of 2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 386, 387 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per allegation, on the tip off, the informant along with police personnel reached at the place of occurrence, where he saw a person realizing ransom amount from the trucks. That person, seeing the police, tried to flee away but he was apprehended and disclosed his name as the petitioner.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He has further submitted that nothing was recovered
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58081 of 2024(3) dt.27-08-2024 2/2 from possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is under custody since 01.05.2024.
5. On the other hand, the learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.
6. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand rupees) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Bhojpur at Ara in connection with Koilwar P.S. Case No. 209 of 2024, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court. (i) Before release, the learned court below shall verify the criminal antecedent of the petitioner and if it is found that he is involved in any other case, his bail bond shall not be accepted.
