2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Cheriya Khodawandpur P.S. Case No. 248 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 326, 307, 498A, 304B read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the DP Act. Subsequently, Section 304(B) of the Indian Penal Code was added.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is the husband of the deceased who is custody since 26.08.2023. He is accused of killing the deceased. Sufficient materials have come during investigation to support the allegation levelled against the petitioner.

4. Considering the serious allegation levelled against

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56884 of 2024(4) dt.20-11-2024 2/2 the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is dismissed.

5. The court below is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner. If the trial is delayed by the prosecution, the petitioner has liberty to file a fresh bail application. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Shishir/- U T
