The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 379 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code. It is alleged that the petitioner assaulted with knife on the head and lip of the informant and others assaulted with chain and iron rod on other parts of the body whereas co-accused Bittu Singh snatched one lakh rupees from his pocket.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the informant is the Private Secretary of the Principal of Mahendra Das Mahavidayalaya, Jalalpur and due to

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.53681 of 2015 (2) dt.26-11-2015 2/2 the dispute with regard to the financial irregularities the accusation has been levelled. No incised wound has been found on the head of the informant. A statement has been made in paragraph 3 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

The aforesaid facts constitute ground for consideration of prayer for regular bail, if the petitioner surrenders before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Kuchaikote P.S. Case No. 154 of 2015 pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is disposed of.
